What is Audiences?

Audience data describes the gender, age, ethnicity, social group and region of the film audience as a whole and for particular popular film titles. Producers have to know where their audience will fall in or else their film will not succeed as they have failed to find the correct audience for their type of film. They also have to take consideration in the age group of their audience or else their film will not have the proper impact that they are trying to create. For example, children will not understand adult humor etc.
