This is the side by side comparison of our title opening and spiderman 2 title opening on Camtasia. We tried to follow this opening in our own film opening.
The convention of a film opening, tells the audience many things.
- Title sequence. It introduces the key characters and the people behind the making of the movie.
- After the title sequence, the location/settings is introduced.
- The opening of the movie sets the mood and tone.
- The film opening normally leaves unanswered questions - "enigma". This leaves the audience in suspense and they crave to watch it more.
